One of the few ultimate tennis centers in the world

The Caja Mágica houses three tennis clay courts with retractable roofs. The main court, called Manolo Santana, can host 12.500 viewers. Courts 2 -Arantxa Sánchez Vicario stadium- and 3 are equipped with 3.500 and 2.500 seats respectively.

The Caja Mágica has been presented as the most modern tennis facility in the world. The enclosure hosts annually the Mutua Madrid Open since 2009. Made completely from iron, wood and glass, it was designed by French architect Dominique Perrault. The name Caja Mágica (Magic box) is due to the resemblance of the sports centers with actual boxes, which are dynamic and ever changing.

The best clay courts on the world

The courts in the Caja Mágica are ready to receive the best players in the world ti play in the Mutua Madrid Open. During 2012 all courts were reconstructed for the 2013 edition. Since then, the court’s daily and meticulous maintenance grants them a status reserved for just a few in the world. And this is something any tennis enthusiast can enjoy during the rest of the year by simply booking one the courts at Momo Sports club.
