The Mutua Madrid Open’s ball boys and girls today began their training for the tournament with the first sessions at the Caja Mágica. Over two weeks, they will receive the physical and technical preparation necessary for everything to be ready to go when the tournament gets underway.

The nine boys and nine girls who made it through the initial casting carried out a few days ago and who have not worked at previous editions of the tournament began their training today. They were joined by the two winners, one boy and one girl, of the international competition held by Italian clothing brand Ellesse.

Of these ten boys and ten girls, six will continue their training next week alongside six who have already worked as model ball boys and girls at the Mutua Madrid Open, to form the definitive group of twelve boys and twelve girls who will work at the days’ biggest match from Monday the 7th to Sunday the 13th of May.

Not only will the finalists have to undergo physical conditioning, they will also receive the necessary technical training to allow them to do their job in the best possible way, helping the players without getting in their way.
