They play tennis like the greats, with perfect serves, touches of genius, strategy… and always sportingly, with respect and determination. They are the little tennis players that have been coming to the children’s “SOY de la Mutua, SOY ganador” tournament organised every year by Mutua Madrileña and that is being run again this year by the insurance company at the Mutua Madrid Open Sports Club in the Caja Mágica. 1,200 children have participated in the 2018 edition.

Over five weekends in February and March, the littluns played a qualifying stage on the Madrid clay in which they were divided into four age categories.

After the initial stage, 70 players fought to win a fabulous prize: an incredible day at the Mutua Madrid Open and sharing an experience with one of the best tennis players in the world.

Classes with a top-ten player

In 2017 the four winners and finalists of each category enjoyed a clinic with Stan Wawrinka, who they had the opportunity to take on in a match. This year the champions will be able to experience another masterclass with a top-ten player and learn from their top tips for serving, playing at the net or service position.

Apart from this event, the eight lucky winners of the “SOY de la Mutua, SOY Ganador” tournament received four tickets each for one of the days of this great competition, which Mutua will be sponsoring for the tenth consecutive year.
